What company makes the "Buffalo" silver 1oz rounds? The one that looks like a silver version of the gold Buffalo/Buffalo nickel??
(They be purty!!)
And does anyone have an online source for these rounds??

Hey Bill,

Watch out for those.I have some and like them alot but there are alot of fakes out there. Look for.999 silver or pass.

There apparently are at least four private mints that are or have produced buffalo 1 oz. rounds that report "1 oz. (or troy oz.) of .999 fine silver". I have four different ones. All of them look like fairly recent to very new fabrication. The four are similiar but a close look quickly shows enough differences on both the obverse and reverse to suggest that each was struck with different dies.

I asked them why they didn't put their name on them and they said they deal with shops that like to make it the house round.

EDIT: Oh... never mind... I think maybe Wall St. mint for the Indian Head round. I have one of those stashed somewhere.
